The Lutheran Evangelical Sisterhood

Our biblical motto is: Jesus Christ says, "Remain in my love." (John 15:9)

The Sisterhood of the Evangelical Church of the Lutheran Confession in Brazil (IECLB) is founded on the unconditional and limitless love of Jesus Christ. Acceptance of this love enables us to love, serving as the starting point for both the diaconal service and the communion of the Sisterhood.

We form a communion of faith, service and life.

Its mission

It consists of mutual support, witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through diaconal actions.

The Sisterhood knows that it is committed to the diaconal task of its Church. She is aware that diakonia is a way of acting in the world, but also of being, of speaking, of acting. It is the proclamation of the Gospel.

The experience of Christian spirituality through worship, prayer, and celebration;
mutual support, the pursuit of personal and group contacts,
the exchange of experiences, the commitment to cooperate in tasks that are of common responsibility,
relationships based on respect and trust, sincerity, and love.
